Role Overview
As a Software Engineer on the macOS team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and scaling Speechify's core desktop experience for millions of users. You will take ownership of critical components within our macOS app architecture, produce production-ready code, and work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and engineering teams across the organization.

What You'll Do
- Lead essential engineering and product strategies for the macOS application.
- Develop, test, and deploy production-quality code capable of supporting millions of users.
- Maintain and improve complex app architecture with a keen focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team, partnering with designers and product managers to conceptualize and launch features.
- Engage in product planning and roadmap discussions.
- Advance continuous improvement initiatives regarding code quality, CI/CD processes, and development workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping macOS (or equivalent desktop) applications with substantial user adoption.
- Strong engineering instincts paired with a deep commitment to user experience.
- A strategic mindset focused on crafting exceptional products—not solely on coding.
