Primary Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Manager, you will:
- Lead by example, embodying the core values and culture of Bozzuto.
- Dedicate time to hiring, training, and mentoring technicians and community care associates through both on-the-job and classroom education.
- Demonstrate genuine care for our residents by promptly addressing and ensuring the thorough completion of their apartment service requests.
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
- Oversee the make-ready and apartment turnover process with precision and timeliness to facilitate new resident move-ins.
- Protect the building's value by implementing and executing preventative maintenance programs consistently.
- Maintain the building's aesthetics and community safety through diligent upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
- Ensure optimal operational efficiency for all property components.
- Comply with all relevant building, county, and safety codes/standards, ensuring an accident-free environment.
- Conduct annual inspections of building systems as mandated by jurisdictional requirements.
- Lead cost-effective capital improvement projects and special initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and projects within allocated budgets.
- Ensure monthly staffing schedules are reinforced to provide 24/7 emergency coverage.
