Maintenance Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the Rolling Mill Unit.
- Oversee and coordinate preventive, corrective, and enhancement maintenance activities.
- Diagnose equipment failures, analyze malfunctions, and propose effective solutions.
- Track performance metrics, including equipment uptime, adherence to schedules, and reduction of unplanned downtimes.
- Optimize spare parts and consumables usage for cost efficiency.
- Manage new projects and outsource maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Implement and enhance the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to monitor interventions and equipment performance (COSWIN).
Team Management and Development
- Lead, organize, and mentor maintenance teams, including mechanical, electrical, and fabrication personnel.
- Review and approve weekly work schedules based on team skills and available resources.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend promotions based on merit.
- Enhance team skills through tailored internal and external training programs.
- Promote team awareness of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, and operational best practices.
Continuous Improvement and Performance
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as the PDCA cycle.
- Investigate unmet objectives and implement corrective measures.
- Participate in internal audits and address identified deficiencies.
- Enhance the reliability of critical equipment and refine maintenance practices.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
- Investigate workplace accidents and establish corrective and preventive measures.
- Guarantee compliance with installations and maintenance activities.
