Qualifications
1. A minimum of five years of experience in poultry processing maintenance or a related field is required.2. Ability to troubleshoot and implement immediate corrections in emergency situations is essential.3. Proficiency in welding, including arc and heli-arc techniques, as well as the use of a cutting torch, is necessary.4. Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required.5. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.6. Ability to lift 50 pounds is mandatory.7. Must be able to safely work from ladders.8. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed.9. Willingness to cross-train in processing maintenance areas is expected.10. Ability to stand for prolonged periods (8-10 hours) on concrete or metal grate flooring.Additional Functions:Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
(Earn an additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM, and an extra $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 4:59 AM.)
As a Maintenance Mechanic in our Evis Department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of MDP grinding operation equipment. This includes, but is not limited to: Multivac machines, Ossid Tray Pack equipment, Segment Line equipment, Wolftec Injectors, Brine mixers, Frigoscandia spiral freezers, Ishida scales, mechanical conveying systems, electronic label printers, computers, vacuum packaging machines, box making/sealing equipment, metal detectors, plumbing, pneumatics, and welding tasks. You will also be expected to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Your role will involve generating work orders and store requisitions, as well as reporting any deficiencies you may encounter.
