Key Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Exhibit care for residents by efficiently resolving service tickets and performing preventative maintenance.
- Address maintenance issues related to HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through necessary repairs and enhancements.
- Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the building while ensuring community safety through regular upkeep, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
- Be available for weekend or evening work and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience in building maintenance or relevant educational background in the trades.
- Beginner to intermediate knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Willingness to be available for emergency situations, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Ability to lift and exert force between 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
- Dependable transportation for commuting to work and responding to on-call emergencies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using various software applications.
- A proactive service-oriented attitude and a desire for continuous learning.
