We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager, Project Support Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Manager, Project Support Specialist (PSS) plays a critical dual role, combining functional leadership with hands-on project delivery at a Principal level. This key position entails direct management of the Project Support team while also serving as a senior project team member on complex studies and portfolios. The Manager will be responsible for fostering a high-performing PSS function, ensuring the implementation of consistent standards, scalable processes, and operational excellence. Simultaneously, the incumbent will contribute to study execution, collaborating closely with Project Management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery across various programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop PSS staff to enhance their skills and uphold Precision's quality standards.
- Promote individual career development and accountability within the team.
- Ensure personnel adhere to the highest quality standards and comply with established SOPs, project plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment process by reviewing CVs and conducting interviews for new PSS staff.
- Facilitate onboarding training for new employees in collaboration with Human Resources and Clinical Training.
- Establish robust operational methodologies and standards for the PSS role, ensuring consistent execution by team members.
- Provide necessary resources, training, and access to systems for personnel to meet their role expectations.
- Develop training plans and hold team members accountable for achieving training milestones.
- Monitor and manage workloads of the supervised staff, adjusting as necessary to optimize performance.
- Deliver ongoing feedback, coaching, and conduct annual performance reviews for Project Support Specialists.
- Guide and train personnel in clinical study monitoring, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and standards for monitoring and reporting.
