We are excited to announce an opening for a Manager, Project Support Specialist (PSS).
Position Overview:
The Manager, Project Support Specialist is a key leadership role that merges functional management with hands-on project delivery at a Principal level. This position entails direct oversight of the Project Support team while also serving as a senior member of project teams working on complex studies and portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing PSS team, establishing consistent standards, scalable processes, and operational excellence. Additionally, the Manager will work closely with Project Management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery across programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, mentor, and coach PSS staff to enhance their skills in adherence to Precision’s quality standards.
- Champion individual career development and accountability.
- Ensure team members maintain compliance with established SOPs, project plans, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment process by reviewing CVs and conducting interviews for new PSS staff.
- Facilitate onboarding training for new hires in partnership with Human Resources and Clinical Training.
- Establish robust operational methodologies and standards for the PSS role, ensuring consistent quality execution.
- Provide necessary resources, training, and materials to staff to meet performance expectations.
- Develop training plans and monitor personnel progress towards achieving training goals.
- Manage the workload of supervised staff, making adjustments as needed.
- Provide continuous feedback, development, and coaching, including annual performance reviews.
- Mentor and train staff on clinical study monitoring, ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP Guidelines.
