Agents in our Command Center utilize Cargo Signal visibility software and hardware to actively track customer shipments, assess cargo risk events, and manage response protocols. Agents engage directly with customers and service providers globally.
- Handle customer communications through email, phone, and chat, demonstrating an understanding of complex requests and responding swiftly and professionally.
- Provide information regarding shipments, Cargo Signal services, account details, and assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Resolve customer issues within established guidelines, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams as necessary.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Accurately enter customer data into Cargo Signal systems, including order details and shipment information, along with notes on customer interactions.
- Transfer information from documents or other sources into monitoring software, ensuring precision and timely data input.
- Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing information against source documents and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain data integrity by identifying and correcting outdated or inaccurate information.
- Track and trace shipments using both internal and external applications, and through communication with service providers via phone/email.
- Comprehend standard operating procedures and accurately interpret this information to meet customer instructions and expectations.
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers to enhance satisfaction and retention, reporting customer feedback to management, including any indications of dissatisfaction.
- Proactively monitor shipments to ensure compliance with customer requirements and respond to emergency alerts according to company protocols.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations, executing tasks with integrity and pride.
