About the Role
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and detail-driven Manufacturing Associates to join our dynamic production team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute directly to the assembly of our state-of-the-art battery storage systems, playing a vital part in shaping the future of energy.
Your responsibilities will include the mechanical assembly of our products, adhering strictly to work instructions, and ensuring that each unit meets our stringent quality standards. This hands-on role is physically engaging and requires reliability, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate production machinery and equipment while maintaining consistent product output.
- Assemble battery systems and sub-assemblies on the manufacturing line, following detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct visual inspections of components and finished products to identify defects, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before progressing to the next stage.
- Load and unload materials onto the production line, assist with kitting job kits, and organize components to facilitate a seamless workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in line with 5S standards, complying with all safety requirements, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement within the assembly processes to the broader team.
- Exhibit flexibility in shift changes and be willing to work overtime as needed to support the growth of Base.
What You'll Bring
- Preferred prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or warehousing environments; familiarity with hand and power tools is advantageous. A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift 50-70 lbs, with comfort in performing repetitive tasks.
