The Master GM Automotive Technician plays a crucial role in delivering top-tier vehicle repair and maintenance services that adhere to both dealer and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertly utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and various vehicle-related issues.
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and additional automotive systems based on outlined repair orders.
- Efficiently diagnose malfunctions and execute repairs within designated timeframes.
- Collaborate effectively with service advisors, fellow technicians, lead technician, foreman, and the parts department to prioritize and schedule repairs.
- Conduct meticulous quality inspections to guarantee that all repairs meet or surpass industry standards or identify any additional safety needs for service work.
- Promptly address any concerns or discrepancies with the Service Advisor, team lead, or foreman (including parts, time promised, etc.).
- Accurately document all diagnostic and repair activities.
- Complete repair orders and maintain detailed service records.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
- Engage in training sessions to further enhance skills and knowledge.
