Role Overview:
- Take ownership of lineside material availability within designated production areas.
- Prevent production delays caused by unavailable hardware or consumables.
- Perform real-time material movement, replenishment, and kitting operations.
- Manage and operate kanban and pull-based replenishment systems.
- Support high-rate production environments with prompt and reliable execution.
- Prioritize production requirements above all other tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lineside Execution
- Ensure optimal levels of lineside hardware and consumables are maintained at all times.
- Restock bins, kits, and point-of-use inventory to facilitate uninterrupted production.
- Quickly respond to shortages or potential line holds; escalate issues only when necessary.
- Transfer materials between locations, stockrooms, and production lines as needed to support operations.
- Guarantee accurate material availability in terms of type, quantity, and configuration at the point of use.
- Replenishment & Flow
- Implement and uphold kanban and pull systems for consumables and reusable hardware.
- Monitor inventory signals and initiate replenishment before shortages arise.
- Assist with basic material tracking and accuracy in ERP and inventory systems.
- Identify and communicate material flow gaps to factory leadership for improvement.
- Production Support & Coordination
- Act as the primary defense against material-related downtime.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Stockroom teams to resolve material shortages.
