Desired ProfileEngineering degree or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, specialization in calculation/simulation.Practical experience in a design office or in the agricultural/mechanical industry.Strong skills in material strength, continuum mechanics, and fatigue sizing.Proficiency in calculation tools (finite elements, scripting, post-processing).CAD software knowledge: ideally Creo, SolidEdge, CATIA, or equivalent.Good understanding of manufacturing processes: machining, mechanical welding, sheet metal work, molding.Fluent technical English (written/spoken); German is a plus.Traits: rigor, analytical mindset, technical curiosity, adaptability to the agricultural environment.
About the job
Key Responsibilities
Utilize calculation methodologies (finite elements, analytical) to validate the mechanical integrity of agricultural structures and subassemblies (frames, lifting systems, etc.).
Develop 3D CAD models (Prisme, Solid, sheet metal, assembly) to facilitate analyses.
Leverage calculation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Code_Aster, etc.) for static, dynamic, and fatigue simulations.
Analyze calculation results and suggest optimizations (weight, robustness, cost).
Prepare calculation notes, reports, test protocols, and technical presentations.
Define and oversee testing (prototypes, field validation).
Incorporate field feedback and iteratively refine solutions until validated.
Contribute to project management: specifications, budget, scheduling, suppliers.
