Key Responsibilities
Contributors will engage in various unique tasks, including:
- Creating mechanical engineering problems suitable for graduate and industry levels based in practical applications.
- Assessing AI-generated solutions for accuracy, underlying assumptions, and engineering soundness.
- Utilizing Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) to validate analytical or numerical results.
- Enhancing AI reasoning to align with fundamental principles and recognized engineering standards.
- Implementing structured evaluation criteria to analyze multi-step problem-solving processes.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is ideal for mechanical engineers with Python expertise who are open to part-time, project-based roles. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Design, or Computational Mechanics.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong command of written English (C1/C2 level).
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation tasks.
- A reliable internet connection.
Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) and experience with international or applied projects are desirable.

Project Commitment
The workload for this project is estimated at approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, contingent on project needs. This estimate is not a guaranteed workload and applies only while the project is ongoing.
Compensation
Contributors can earn up to $40 per hour, depending on their level of expertise and contribution pace. Please note that compensation may vary across projects based on scope, complexity, and required skills.
