Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Develop innovative test stand concepts, fabrication drawings, wiring schematics, and instrumentation lists.Design and analyze complex structures, fluid systems, and mechanisms.Oversee the integration of test stands, including fabrication, mechanical assembly, and data/control systems.Operate test stands with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in every test as margins for error are minimal.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience through academic projects, research, or professional work involving mechanical structure design and analysis.Preferred Skills and Experience:Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Strong understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Proficiency in Unigraphics (NX) and experience with finite element analysis (FEA).Hands-on experience with the design and analysis of large steel and aluminum weldments.Experience in high-pressure fluid system design and analysis (up to 30,000 psi).Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.Experience in data acquisition and control systems.Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion.
