We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge machinery while acquiring a comprehensive skill set in electrical, mechanical, and automation technologies. Dive into the fascinating field of Mechatronics, which integrates mechanical engineering, electronics, computer control, robotics, and automation to design and manage intelligent systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in welding, burning, and fabrication skills, such as marking out, reading technical drawings, and executing MIG, MAG, butt, and fillet welds.
- Utilize programmed instructions to precisely cut, shape, drill, mill, or form materials using CNC mills, lathes, routers, plasma cutters, and grinders.
- Develop fault-finding skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical faults on motors, generators, controllers, and switchboards in CNC machines.
- Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machinery and maintain detailed records in alignment with company procedures.
- Follow safety protocols in accordance with statutory regulations and organizational safety requirements.
- Safely and effectively operate tools, test equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Contribute to daily engineering tasks under the mentorship of experienced technicians and engineers.
- Assist with diagnostics, fault-finding, testing, and maintenance procedures.
- Complete required college-based learning one day per week while applying your skills in the workplace during the remaining days.
- Work towards achieving NVQ and BTEC qualifications through practical assessments and theoretical knowledge.
