About Media Futures Group (MFG)

The Media Futures Group (MFG) is a specialized team committed to delivering a more strategic, creative, and integrated media approach to enhance business results for Google.
The MFG team comprises top-tier experts in digital, offline, and integrated media who collaborate to maximize media's impact on Google's business objectives. MFG operates under the expertise of EssenceMediacom and various parts of GroupM globally.
The Role
The Media Activation Manager is a key player in the Media Activation (Programmatic) team at MFG, tasked with ensuring the seamless execution and optimization of programmatic and biddable campaigns for Google, primarily focusing on display and video channels. This role emphasizes performance campaigns and utilizes a mix of real-time and guaranteed buying across both open exchanges and direct publishers as required. A profound understanding of programmatic platforms, a data-driven optimization strategy, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders are essential for this position.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Directly or indirectly (via management) supports 1-3 markets/accounts
- Ability to oversee up to 3 campaigns end-to-end simultaneously while assisting with others as necessary
- Approximately 60% of time dedicated to individual campaign assignments, with 40% allocated to tasks beyond individual campaigns (e.g., management duties, team projects, mentoring)
- Delivers media plans, wrap-ups, and milestone outputs utilizing established metrics and benchmarks.
