About the Role: As a Media Localization Project Manager at TransPerfect, you will oversee and manage all language and translation projects from inception to completion. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring projects are executed seamlessly and delivered on time, serving as the primary point of accountability.
Work Schedule:
Work Days: Saturday and Sunday along with three weekdays
Work Hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Manage various types of localization projects, including:
VRS (Interactive Voice Response Technology)
E-learning and corporate training materials
Flash and online projects
Radio, TV, and Internet advertisements
Animated videos and cartoons
Video games and online games
Television and film projects
Oversee the multimedia project management process with guidance from the Team Lead or Department Manager, covering:
Pre-production: Review audio and video files, select vendors, schedule talent and technicians, and provide clear project instructions.
Production: Handle all recording and audio engineering tasks, ensuring instructions are followed while engaging with engineers, talents, and clients.
Post-production: Manage video editing, graphic replacements, subtitling, and audio editing while conducting thorough quality checks before project delivery.
Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract linguists to enhance project profitability and efficiency.
Proactively communicate challenges or delays to the Account Executive and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Investigate and resolve client complaints, collaborating with QA and management to implement systemic changes for future prevention.
