Qualifications
Education: A Master's degree in Medical Physics, Radiological Physics, or a related field is required.Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical medical physics is essential, including documented experience in a clinical CT environment conducting at least 10 CT performance evaluations under direct supervision from a board-certified medical physicist.Certifications: Certification in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong computer skills for data entry and patient information retrieval.Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly and professionally across various levels of the healthcare team.Proficiency in Windows applications and software relevant to the role.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

As a Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology, you will provide essential radiation physics support for patients undergoing treatment for cancer and other conditions requiring radiation therapy. Your responsibilities will include performing clinical duties in radiation oncology physics and dosimetry, developing quality control policies for therapy equipment, maintaining calibration records, and assisting with the in-service and repair of medical physics equipment, including linear accelerators and simulators.
