As a Medication Assistant in our Memory Care unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing, ordering, and assisting residents with their medication needs.
- Accurately transcribing and documenting information in the Medication Assistance Record.
- Supporting residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, providing first aid, wound care, and liaising with external healthcare professionals as needed.
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' physical or mental health to leadership.
- Transporting residents to various activities, departments, or dining areas within the community.
- Responding promptly and safely to emergency calls and resident requests, as well as addressing environmental hazards.
