We are currently seeking a dedicated Microbiological Technician for a 32-40 hour work week in Roelofarendsveen.
Your Responsibilities
As a technician, you will work in a state-of-the-art horticultural laboratory within the Morphology department. You will perform microbiological analyses on cultivation materials, directly contributing to the quality and health of plants in the horticultural sector.
Your tasks will include:
Conducting routine microbiological analyses, including culturing, PCR, inoculation, incubation, and evaluating results, as well as working with and assessing plant health.
Handling fungi, yeasts, and bacteria that are vital for plant health and cultivation quality.
Accurate recording and reporting of analysis results in accordance with established protocols.
Identifying anomalies and discussing them with colleagues or senior analysts.
Adhering to quality, safety, and hygiene standards within the laboratory environment.
Collaborating within a team of analysts and contributing to the smooth operation of laboratory planning.
