Our client, a forward-thinking property management firm, is dedicated to creating an innovative software platform that enhances the management experience for real estate owners, property managers, tenants, and service providers. The platform aims to simplify various processes such as lease payments, digital keys, service requests, and financial integrations, ultimately streamlining property management for all stakeholders involved.
As part of a small yet dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with the CTO and other key stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the platform.
About the Role
This position is aimed at hands-on engineering, focusing primarily on platform development while also engaging in building AI agents to enhance internal processes. You will receive mentorship from experienced developers and contribute to a platform designed to support hundreds of properties.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development
Develop and maintain features for a web-based property management platform utilizing TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
Contribute to a monorepo architecture, operating within two-week sprint cycles to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
Implement essential integrations such as DocuSign for lease signing, Plaid for bank verifications, Stripe for payment processing, and systems for ownership group payouts.
Enhance platform performance and user experience, transitioning from a legacy system with slow load times and inefficient workflows.
AI & Automation
Design and integrate AI agents utilizing Claude and various AI APIs to automate slow organizational processes.
Create both API integrations based on existing tools and custom agents developed from the ground up.
Work alongside the CEO to identify and prioritize automation opportunities across the organization.
Problem-Solving & Initiative
Proactively address challenges and suggest innovative solutions that drive efficiency.
