Your Role: Play a crucial part in enabling users to reclaim their online safety and privacy.
Our flagship product, NordVPN Threat Protection, goes beyond traditional VPN functionality. It safeguards users from scams, phishing, and other malicious threats, enhancing their privacy and delivering an ad-free browsing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Threat Protection development team to design and automate the infrastructure for our innovative product.
- Create scripts to optimize and maintain automated code delivery and release pipelines utilizing Docker, Gitlab CI, and AWS.
- Assist in developing frameworks for automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while establishing various virtual testing environments/services.
- Architect and oversee infrastructure for a multi-tenant distributed environment.
- Support the migration of services to and within cloud ecosystems (S3, EC2, EMR, Kubernetes).
- Ensure the application of best practices regarding security, availability, and observability of the infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps, System, or Infrastructure Engineer or in a comparable engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux systems and tools; familiarity with Windows administration is a plus.
- Experience with Git and Git workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Bash, Python).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD principles and a good understanding of build systems and related tools (preferably Make, CMake, Conan, Ninja).
- Solid understanding of software composition principles including compilation, linking, and loading.
