The responsibilities of the Midstream Operations Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring a safe operational environment through the application of Stop Work Authority and adherence to all EQT policies and procedures.
- Executing various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of midstream gathering systems, including compression, pipelines, storage, dehydration, measurement, and associated equipment.
- Operating, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on pipelines, natural gas engines, electric motors, dehydration equipment, auxiliary equipment, and gas compressors.
- Conducting pipeline maintenance activities such as leak surveys, leak repairs, methanol/odorant injection, valve maintenance, pigging, and addressing One-Calls for line locating as well as troubleshooting pipeline restrictions and blockages.
- Performing basic operational tasks such as line locating, emptying tanks, refilling fluids, inspecting tanks and facilities, and monitoring fluid levels in tanks and equipment.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.
