TEAM OVERVIEW
In this position, you will:
- Design and implement advanced simulation tools that accurately model battlefield vehicles, evaluating their performance and integration in complex mission environments.
- Create dynamic tools that enhance human interaction with these simulations, fostering an intuitive user experience.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in aerospace systems, demonstrating a strong grasp of the fidelity required for system-level modeling in large-scale, multi-agent mission scenarios. Proficiency in vehicle and sub-system modeling, alongside familiarity with coding and software integration best practices, is essential. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with challenging and impactful problems in a dynamic setting across our diverse portfolio of programs and products.
- Advance our Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) framework to facilitate mission-level concept exploration, tactics development, autonomous behaviors, and Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) product innovation.
- Create comprehensive simulation models for various elements including sensors, communications, movement, tactical operations, weapon effects, electronic warfare, and command and control systems.
- Collaborate with the Operations Analysis team to deliver simulation capabilities that enhance Monte Carlo and Design of Experiments analyses.
- Partner with capability teams such as Mission Autonomy to provide simulation tools that expedite development processes.
- Work alongside multi-disciplinary experts to comprehend and accurately model critical sub-system, system, and system-of-systems dynamics.
