We are currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join our mobile mechanics team in Montréal-Est, Quebec, from Monday to Friday evenings. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Director, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning of mechanical maintenance work and the execution of the preventive/predictive maintenance program.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Receiving and analyzing the relevance and scope of all work requests, including the duration of work, labor, subcontractors, and required materials, as well as cost estimation.
- Planning and scheduling preventive maintenance and daily maintenance tasks for your production line to minimize downtime.
- Organizing major shutdowns and ensuring the proper allocation of human and material resources to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with the operations department to establish maintenance priorities.
- Planning work to ensure it is carried out safely and in compliance with the company’s health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Ensuring effective coordination of maintenance work to meet operational reliability requirements.
- Creating preventive and predictive task instructions for all existing equipment and for new equipment introduced to the plant.
- Managing and optimizing spare parts lists in the CMMS system “Maximo.”
- Creating spare parts for new equipment in the CMMS system “Maximo.”
- Occasionally conducting reliability projects on our production equipment.
- Performing any other related tasks associated with maintenance.
