Job Overview:
The Hivemind autonomy team at Shield AI is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge multi-target tracking and sensor fusion technologies that empower robust, mission-ready autonomous systems. We invite talented engineers of all experience levels, from seasoned professionals to domain experts, to contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of the tracking stack that drives Hivemind Pilot across various domains and platforms.
In this dynamic open-rank position, you will utilize your profound knowledge in target state estimation, multi-sensor data fusion, and tracking theory—including Bayesian filtering, statistical inference, association algorithms, and dynamics modeling—alongside your strong proficiency in modern C++ for production environments. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical roadmap, developing high-performance tracking algorithms, assessing system performance across simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL), and flight test scenarios, while also mentoring colleagues in line with your expertise. Your contributions will directly enhance state-of-the-art autonomy capabilities for our U.S. and international clients.
