Join Augsburg University's Multicultural Life department as a Multicultural Life Intern II! In this role, you will take the lead in overseeing the Pan-Asian Peer Mentor Program, guiding a dedicated team of Family Leaders while fostering a supportive environment for incoming first-year and transfer students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and administrating the Pan-Asian Peer Mentor Program with a focus on student engagement.
- Planning and executing events that promote cultural awareness and community.
- Training and mentoring Family Leaders and Peer Mentors.
- Collaborating closely with Family Leaders, Mentors, and Mentees to ensure a successful mentoring experience.
- Recruiting incoming students for the mentoring program.
- Co-managing a vibrant group of over 50 students within the Mentor Program.
- Writing and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for activities.
- Assisting in organizing departmental events and initiatives.
- Providing guidance to student organizations as directed by the Program Manager.
- Working closely with the MLife Student Specialist, Bonner Community Leader, and various MLife departmental programs.
