Key Responsibilities for Network Engineer, Operations & Support:
- Incident Response: Lead investigations into complex technical and process challenges globally, involving various reliability, security, and continuity disciplines across thousands of locations during critical incidents affecting edge, caching, and network infrastructure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors will be essential.
- Escalation Management: Engage in the global Tier 3 and 4 on-call rotation, aiming to route issues efficiently while identifying opportunities for process improvements, skill development, and automation to minimize future escalations.
- Operational Leadership: As a proactive member of the operations team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, indirectly overseeing a large workforce tasked with executing projects and recurring activities while ensuring adherence to established standards and policies.
- Risk Management and Assurance: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure that design, build, and operational practices align with essential reliability, security, privacy, regulatory policies, and business continuity requirements.
- Information and Data Assurance: Manage operational documentation effectively, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data supporting operations across systems.
