Exciting Opportunity: Join Us as a Network Operations Manager
Take the lead in maintaining Hamilton’s vital Three Waters networks! We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and supportive leader to fill the role of Network Operations Manager, directly reporting to the Head of Operations & Process (Three Waters). This crucial position entails managing the daily operations of the city’s Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater networks, guaranteeing that our residents, customers, and communities receive safe, dependable, and top-notch services.
In this role, you will enable your team to orchestrate and coordinate all network operational activities. Your leadership will be essential in achieving effective work results and promptly addressing any arising network issues while executing operational work programs with minimal disruption to the public. By anticipating challenges, proactively resolving issues, and continually seeking service enhancement, you’ll ensure seamless operations for everyone reliant on our networks. Clear communication with our customers will also play a key role in keeping them informed and engaged.
If you excel in risk management, leading safety-sensitive operations, interacting with customers, and overseeing budgets and contracts to provide reliable services to the community, this position is for you. Please note that this position will initially be part of Hamilton City Council. As of July 1, 2026, your role will transition to IAWAI – Flowing Waters, a Council Controlled Organisation. Regular updates will be provided before and during the transition.
