Evaluate alerts generated by monitoring systems to identify necessary remediation actions.
Support the configuration of security policies and their implementation.
Assist in establishing security controls to adhere to auditing standards.
Collaborate with departmental leaders as required for effective remediation.
Engage with clients to develop and refine relevant policy and signature rules.
Required Skills and Expertise
Proficient in firewall policy and application identification.
Knowledge of secure network architecture.
Experience in vulnerability testing.
Familiarity with firewalls and cloud security.
Understanding of VPN technologies (SSL & IPSEC).
Expertise in encryption methods (IPSEC, MAC-SEC).
Working knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, CJIS, and IRS1075 is advantageous.
