The Network Security Engineer plays a vital role in our technical team, reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager. This full-time position is ideal for candidates looking to work in a dynamic environment, based in either our Dundrum Dublin or Cork City office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy cutting-edge network security devices both regionally and globally.
- Ensure the stability, availability, and lifecycle management of essential security devices at customer sites.
- Respond to incident escalations from security tools and support Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
- Apply security by design principles in all solutions.
- Administer and monitor network solutions design and implementation.
- Develop and manage firewall policies, maintaining baseline security.
- Monitor device health and respond proactively to risks.
- Review threat prevention measures to enhance security posture.
- Engage vendors for proactive fault management.
- Maintain perimeter hygiene standards.
- Document customer solutions with accuracy and detail.
