Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and more. Responsibilities
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and offer education and support.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and maintain a multidisciplinary approach.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery.
- Perform thorough assessments to diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is required.
- An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license is essential.
