BIXI's vision is to enhance urban experiences through active, accessible, innovative, and collaborative mobility solutions. Established in 2014 by the City of Montreal, BIXI Montréal operates as a non-profit organization managing the bike-sharing system in the Greater Montreal area.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Road Operations Supervisor, the Night Bicycle Redistribution Driver is primarily responsible for redistributing bicycles across the network. The role involves operating a transit-style vehicle equipped with a trailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a pickup-style vehicle with a rear trailer.
- Assist in the deployment and retrieval of stations and bicycles at the start and end of the season (March and December).
- Ensure the redistribution of bicycles to BIXI network stations.
- Maintain and clean the stations.
- Communicate with dispatch to obtain routes.
- Address customer inquiries.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned, including warehouse work, station assembly, truck washing, and material handling.
