Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
Establish and maintain the target architecture for a hybrid Microsoft ecosystem encompassing both on-premises data centers and Azure.
Define core solutions for identity, access, storage, and processing needs.
Develop reference architectures and standards for Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure services, producing high-quality architectural artifacts (design diagrams, runbooks).
Hybrid Infrastructure (On-Premises and Cloud)
Deploy and optimize Hyper-V based virtualization; manage clusters, host configurations, virtual machine templates, and performance metrics.
Administer VMware virtual machines and optimize Microsoft licensing.
Plan and execute server lifecycle management (capacity planning, patching, imaging).
Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, RBAC, and tagging.
Define and implement backup and recovery procedures.
Microsoft 365 & Identities
Daily administration of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Management, Purview).
Manage Entra ID, conditional access, identity protection, MFA, SSO, and privileged account management (PIM).
Establish compliance policies and device configuration (Intune/Autopilot), application protection, and update groups.
IT Operations and Support
Act as Level 2 support escalation for incidents and issues; guide root cause analysis and permanent solutions.
Advise and assist the IT support team in creating runbooks, knowledge articles, and training to enhance first-call incident resolution.
Participate in tendering and change management processes.
Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, inventories, topologies, standards, and operational procedures.
Establish governance for naming conventions, tagging, cost allocation, data backup, and retention.
