Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications
· Minimum of 1 year of experience executing diagnostic procedures and associated duties in a hospital or outpatient environment; 2+ years preferred.
· Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a relevant field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
· Successful completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology Technology program is essential. Certification/Licensure: 1) ARRT or 2) NMTCB.
· A valid Driver’s License is required.
· Proficiency with hybrid imaging technologies, such as PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
· Understanding of advanced radiology techniques, including Doppler and elastography.
· Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and other imaging software.
Nuclear Medicine Job Responsibilities
· Conduct a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans, SPECT scans, bone scans, thyroid scans, and cardiac imaging.
