We are currently looking for a skilled Occupational Safety Specialist to provide support to the Headquarters Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) G-4 in Arlington, VA. An active Secret Clearance is required for this position. This role offers enterprise-level occupational safety and risk management support across Marine Corps installations globally.
The Occupational Safety Specialist will assist with program direction, policy development, compliance oversight, reporting, training delivery, and safety management system (SMS) execution. Regular interaction with senior Marine Corps leadership, installation safety offices, and external agencies will be essential in promoting mission readiness through proactive safety and risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
The Occupational Safety Specialist will:
- Compile and consolidate Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports; maintain OSHA 300 logs for headquarters.
- Deliver OSHA 10-Hour and 30-Hour training, Supervisor 4–8 hour training, and new employee safety indoctrination in line with current Safety Management System (SMS) policies. Manage and utilize enterprise safety and task management systems, including:
- Risk Management Information (RMI) modules
- SharePoint
- Support application testing, module updates, and coordination with system owners and prime contractors. Provide oversight and compliance assessment of over 110 safety services across Marine Corps installations. Research, draft, and coordinate naval correspondence, briefs, policy memoranda, instructions, and safety-related communications. Assist in developing and implementing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) programs in collaboration with the Naval Crane Center and in accordance with NAVSUP and NAVFAC program requirements.
