Key Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will assist individuals across various age groups in enhancing their ability to engage in daily activities and promote independent living. Your role includes assessing patients' needs, crafting customized treatment plans, and employing diverse therapeutic techniques to elevate their functionality, foster independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.
· Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and social skills pertinent to daily functioning.
· Create personalized treatment plans to address specific impairments and encourage functional independence in areas such as self-care, work, education, and leisure activities.
· Execute therapeutic activities and interventions tailored to meet the patient’s objectives and track their progress.
· Instruct patients and caregivers on utilizing adaptive equipment and developing strategies for daily living.
· Adapt environments (home, workplace, school) to improve safety and accessibility.
· Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
