Our Buenos Aires office serves as a pivotal engineering and product hub, and we are seeking an enthusiastic Office Manager to be the backbone of our local operations. In this role, you will ensure the seamless functioning of our office, provide unwavering support to our team, and cultivate a thriving company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily office upkeep, including cleaning, repairs, internet connectivity, and security.
Manage the inventory of office supplies, groceries, snacks, merchandise, and equipment.
Liaise with local vendors and service providers, including landlords, internet companies, catering, and cleaning services.
Create a welcoming, productive, and vibrant environment for our team.
Assist with onboarding by preparing necessary hardware, office arrangements, and system access for new team members.
Plan and organize events such as team-building activities, happy hours, celebrations, and offsite meetings.
Champion culture-building initiatives that align the Buenos Aires office with the broader Profound team.
Support financial processes including invoices, expense management, and coordination with the accounting team for local payments.
Oversee mail, courier services, and hardware shipments to and from remote employees in Argentina.
Assist visiting colleagues with local travel arrangements, logistics, and office-related needs.
Maintain updated internal documentation and contribute to enhancing workflows and processes in the Buenos Aires office.
Who You Are
A minimum of 1 year of experience in office management, administrative assistance, or operations; experience in a startup or tech environment is desirable.
Fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker, with experience collaborating with international teams.
Proficient in using tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, and Zoom.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
A proactive problem-solver capable of addressing issues swiftly.
Energetic and people-oriented, passionate about fostering a supportive and enjoyable office atmosphere.
