About the job
At Figma, we're expanding our team of dedicated creatives and innovators who are committed to making design accessible for everyone. Our platform empowers teams to turn ideas into reality—whether you're brainstorming, creating prototypes, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From concept to product, Figma enables teams to enhance workflows, accelerate processes, and collaborate in real-time from any location globally. If you're passionate about revolutionizing the future of design and teamwork, we would love for you to join us!
As our Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Workplace team, providing essential HR support for our Tel Aviv hub. In this hybrid position, you will oversee daily office operations, create a welcoming environment for employees and guests, and assist with vital people operations initiatives—from onboarding to benefits management to union relations.
This is a full-time, in-person role located at our Tel Aviv office.
Your Responsibilities at Figma:
- Serve as the welcoming face of the office, assisting guests, vendors, and employees upon arrival.
- Coordinate logistics and hospitality for in-office meetings, events, and team offsites, including planning celebrations, cultural holidays, and employee resource group activities (some may take place outside regular hours, so flexibility is essential).
- Ensure the workplace is clean, safe, and fully operational each day by managing and restocking supplies, office equipment, and facilities requests.
- Collaborate with the People team to facilitate onboarding processes, including right-to-work checks, in-person paperwork, and onboarding materials.
- Provide language translation or interpretation support for employee communications, vendors, local governments, and necessary documentation. Advise the People Team on cultural nuances for tailored messaging.
- Lead local health and safety initiatives and act as a liaison between Figma and employee representative bodies and local unions.
We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have:
- Experience in HR administration.
- 2-3 years of experience in a startup or tech environment.
- High proficiency in Google applications and Mac support.
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-direction, and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
It's a Plus If You Have:
- Experience with tools like Slack, Asana, or other collaboration platforms.
