We are excited to announce an immediate opportunity for an Offshore Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Supervisor. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the safety and health of offshore personnel and projects. The successful candidate will offer support, guidance, and constructive feedback to our offshore asset teams while collaborating closely with the onshore HSE team to ensure the delivery of safe and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vessel visits in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and Guyana during port calls, mobilizations, and demobilizations.
- Facilitate internal training aligned with DOF's training and competence matrix, covering Management System Training, Unisea, TM Master, OCS, and DOF Workbook.
- Provide training and insight into DOF’s Risk Assessment and Permit to Work procedures, including the use of the Permit to Work system.
- Oversee annual checks and recertification of safety equipment, ensuring compliance with DOF’s height safety standards.
- Execute Permit to Work audits during onboard visits and report findings using Unisea, forwarding them to the HSEQ Manager and the VP of Subsea.
- Issue course certificates post-training sessions and review vessel Safety Observation Cards, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Tool Box Talks (TBT).
- Inspect Working at Height (WAH) and Fall Rescue Equipment and manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) inventory.
- Engage hands-on with practical safety performances, focusing on lifting operations and prevention of dropped objects.
- Encourage safety reporting and collaborate with Contractor HSE personnel to implement DOF and project HSEQ procedures effectively.
- Participate in or lead incident investigations and ensure that findings from walkabouts, inspections, and audits are addressed as necessary.
- Guarantee that all HSE requirements outlined in the Integrated Management System (IMS) are actionable onboard (HSE meetings, hygiene inspections, drills, etc.).
- Support the HSEQ Onshore department as required through training and follow-up campaigns.
Additional Tasks:
- Assist Project Managers and Offshore Managers in preparing and revising vessel Risk Assessments.
- Contribute to the HSEQ Department by performing internal audits, conducting training sessions, and reviewing procedures.
- Participate in HSEQ meetings as needed.
