Role Overview:
The Onboarding Manager (OM) serves as the primary onboarding coordinator for all new Cutover customers, ensuring that they receive a structured, predictable, and high-quality onboarding experience. This customer-facing role collaborates directly with clients during the onboarding process, fostering alignment, clarity, and momentum. The OM raises the standard for onboarding excellence, drives delivery governance, and ensures that customers progress efficiently from implementation to achieving their defined value realization within six months.
The OM is accountable for the onboarding plans of multiple new Cutover customers at once. They oversee cross-functional collaboration among Customers, Account Executives (AEs), Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and Delivery teams to proactively identify risks, misalignments, and execution gaps throughout the onboarding journey. The OM ensures that issues are identified early and escalated through established governance structures, maintaining transparency and accountability while driving progress.
While AEs and CSMs manage the overall customer relationship, the OM is responsible for the onboarding plan, governance framework, and execution oversight. This role provides guidance and support to both onboarding teams and customers, clarifying progress, identifying blockers, resourcing needs, decision-making processes, and next steps to ensure timely and successful onboarding outcomes.
