Join our dynamic team as an Oncology Sales Representative and play a pivotal role in the launch of a groundbreaking targeted therapy for lung cancer! You will be responsible for promoting our newly approved oncology product to practices within your designated territory. Engage directly with oncologists, oncology nurses, office staff, and pharmacists through face-to-face interactions, delivering valuable insights and support.
Your mission will be to develop and nurture strong relationships with healthcare providers by educating them about our client's oncology product, its approved indications, and the comprehensive support services available for cancer patients. A deep understanding of the product, disease state, customer landscape, and territory is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with physicians and influential thought leaders across the United States.
- Leverage the customer relationship management system to document call records and account plans.
- Deliver exceptional expertise and customer service to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively and mobilize necessary resources to achieve objectives.
- Communication Skills: Provide clear and informative product scientific information to healthcare professionals, oncologists, and key stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Complete comprehensive training to thoroughly understand the disease state and our client’s product positioning.
- Travel Requirements: Expect to travel to medical offices and hospitals (80% travel, with some overnight stays).
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, potentially including weekend medical meetings.
