As an Oncology Specialist (OS) at AbbVie, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic business plans within your territory, which includes Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. We highly prefer candidates residing in the greater Chicago area.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Strategic Account Management, the OS will leverage a deep understanding of oncology to cultivate professional relationships with oncologists, nursing personnel, and office staff, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the oncology patient care continuum. Your mission will align with AbbVie’s commitment to enhancing patient outcomes.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Achieving and surpassing assigned sales targets.
- Delivering approved disease state and product information to healthcare professionals, employing persuasive communication skills while adhering to AbbVie’s Promotional Policy.
- Utilizing sales analytics and customer insights to formulate impactful strategic plans aligned with our brand objectives.
- Implementing sales and marketing initiatives within your territory, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and utilizing all authorized resources.
- Staying informed on market dynamics, territory developments, and advancements in oncology.
- Building a robust call plan that meets established metrics and optimizes outreach to key stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.
