What will your role look like?
As the Online Marketing Specialist, you will be the go-to expert within our marketing and communications department, serving as a key partner for business line marketers. You will have a clear understanding of how to leverage online channels to meet commercial objectives, translating marketing challenges into effective campaigns that yield tangible results.
You will contribute strategically to online marketing efforts, focusing on the entire customer journey. You will connect various channels intelligently, emphasizing a robust omnichannel marketing strategy.
At the same time, you will actively engage in hands-on work. You will set up campaigns (including SEA and LinkedIn), continuously optimize performance, and provide clear reporting and insights. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in establishing and enhancing lead generation and marketing automation, including managing and optimizing newsletters and email flows.
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting up, managing, and optimizing online campaigns (SEA, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads)
Designing and improving customer journeys, lead generation funnels, and marketing automation
Implementing website optimizations (SEO, content, conversion, UX) for both the central Howden website and our lead generation sites, consistently driving performance and conversion
Managing and optimizing the newsletter process (segmentation and performance)
Reporting and analyzing with tools like GA4, Google Search Console, and marketing dashboards, translating findings into actionable improvements.
Leading and collaborating with external agencies (e.g., for campaigns and web development) to ensure optimal setup and performance of campaigns and digital assets
Advising business lines on the use of online marketing
Identifying opportunities and trends in digital marketing and translating them into action
