The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and dependable operation and maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems. This position centers around plant operations, mechanical equipment upkeep, and maintaining asset integrity in alignment with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with daily operations and maintenance tasks for gas plants and pipeline systems.
- Evaluate plant and pipeline performance to guarantee safe and efficient operations.
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.
- Maintain mechanical equipment, including static and rotary components such as vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and valves.
- Identify equipment faults and apply corrective measures to reduce downtime.
- Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and significant maintenance operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Generate maintenance reports, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with operations teams, contractors, and vendors during maintenance processes.
- Utilize SAP PM for effective maintenance planning, execution, and reporting (preferred).
