Join our dedicated Critical Services team as an Operations Assistant at AVK-SEG in West Thurrock. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all equipment is prepared for hire and meets the specific requirements of ongoing projects and services. Your contributions will be vital to the long-term effectiveness and success of our Load Bank Hire Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with asset preparation tasks, including:
- Loading and unloading vehicles using 16T forklifts.
- Moving materials such as cables in readiness for collection.
- Completing administrative tasks to support operational objectives.
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations to ensure assets are ready and available according to business needs and project timelines.
- Act as a trusted resource for internal teams including Directors, Project Managers, and Service Managers.
- Engage in strategic planning to guarantee all equipment is hire-ready, green-carded, and compliant with PDI standards.
- Support the Head of Operations in developing and executing operational strategies.
- Provide after-hours support for project and service demands as needed.
