Job Purpose: To oversee and manage the operations of the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit, ensuring the effective and safe utilization of human and material resources to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the FPSO, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Direct onshore technical oversight, planning, and support for FPSO maintenance, cargo handling, marine, and process operations.
• Provide technical guidance to minimize downtime during maintenance and operational activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Flag and Classification Society requirements; plan and execute necessary surveys to maintain certification validity.
• Manage shutdown maintenance projects, including budgeting, personnel mobilization, and coordination with vendors and subcontractors.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and local communities regarding operational issues and equipment performance.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process and assist in monthly financial forecasting and profit planning.
• Enhance the effectiveness of support services through improved communication and collaboration across HR, IT, and Finance functions.
• Develop and oversee the accounting systems of the base, ensuring accurate tracking of revenues and expenses, and recommending system enhancements in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer.
• Plan and schedule engineering support for maintenance and repairs, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Continuously assess the technical performance and reliability of FPSO systems, identifying areas for improvement.
