JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outside Sales Manager to join our expanding sales management team. The ideal candidate will possess proven in-home sales management experience. Reporting directly to the location President, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing a high-performing sales team, implementing effective strategies to achieve sales targets, and fostering a motivating sales culture. Key responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new Design Consultants to ensure we exceed sales expectations and maintain optimal team performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Design Consultants to establish and achieve their individual annual sales plans, including conducting regular ride-alongs to evaluate their proficiency in the sales process, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Build and nurture a high-performing team to consistently exceed monthly sales goals.
- Provide comprehensive training on tools, techniques, problem-solving, and consultative selling methods to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Monitor daily sales activities and ensure accurate reporting for each Design Consultant.
- Maintain ongoing communication with installation, operations, and call center management for seamless collaboration.
- Manage and resolve issues related to contracts, change orders, customer interactions, pricing, and lead ownership.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings to drive performance, inspire and mentor the team, and track overall team performance.
- Supervise the execution of the New Hire Sales Training Program.
