The Role
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be integral to our emergency veterinary team, where your expertise plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care in time-sensitive situations. You will engage in triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing emotional support to pet parents during their most challenging moments. This position is ideal for those looking to apply their training in a meaningful way while continuing their professional development and making a significant impact on the lives of animals and their families.
Your Responsibilities
- Treat every patient and their owners with care and respect, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing nursing care, treatments, and emotional reassurance from triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and perform critical procedures, from IV placements to blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with the team, contributing to care plans and maintaining workflow.
- Be prepared to perform CPR with confidence, supported by our extensive RECOVER training programs.
