The Overnight Sanitation Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the cleaning and sanitization processes of our manufacturing facility and equipment, adhering strictly to Food Safety Quality (FSQ) guidelines. This leadership position is accountable for managing the Sanitation Team, ensuring that staffing and sanitation schedules are effectively followed. Responsibilities include managing documentation workflows and executing duties in line with company policies and procedures. The supervisor is expected to uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), USDA Guidelines, and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
DIRECT REPORTS: Sanitation Specialists
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety: Ensure all team members adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining safety tools. Enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
Keep a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Promptly report incidents and deficiencies to management and complete necessary incident investigations.
Ensure all safety devices are installed and functioning properly.
Monitor the work environment for food safety hazards such as condensation.
Leadership:
Guide and lead a team of Sanitation Specialists, providing training, development, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with Human Resources to manage staffing needs, including interviewing and hiring new team members.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of sanitation processes and job requirements.
Foster a culture that prioritizes personnel and food safety.
